![]() ![]() The MeasureGPUMemUsedPercent value should not be zero, and the 3 values after that should not be zero either. ![]() In the right pane, scroll down until you see something like this: GPUMeterAbout.png. Select the skin GadgetsGPU MeterGPU 0 in the left pane. Information=Shows the RAM usage in percent, with a glowing ring background. Open the Rainmeter About screen and select the Skins tab. Text=Item: #CRLF#Field: #CRLF#Value: #CRLF#Raw: #CRLF#CRLF#Item: #CRLF#Field: #CRLF#Value: #CRLF#Raw: I do not believe that Processor Frequency in Perfmon is a 'real-time' measurement, but is the reported standard value for the processor. Perfmon.exe is just a 'front end' for it, its always tracking stuff in Windows. If this is so, then setting the Show CPU/GPU temperatures to ON in the suite's Settings skin should solve the "issue" (though you said the CPU temp works, so I might be wrong, after all): Rainmeter will directly read the database of values that Perfmon is always maintaining. I suspect that the issue is that the GPU temp is by default hidden in the said skin, due to the #TempsToggle# variable value at the end of the code. Example: If Update1000 (in the Rainmeter section) and UpdateDivider30, the measure is updated every 30 seconds. A separate utility is included to make it easy to correlate the sensor ID number in the skin with the related sensor functionality in HWInfo.Information=Shows the GPU usage in percent, with a glowing ring background. The Update option in the Rainmeter section of the skin is multiplied by the specified value to determine how often the measure is updated. Plugin is 3rd-party, but seems well supported. Haven't tested it in a few months, so these might be corrected.ģ) HWInfo : Very robust information about CPU and GPU temperatures, fan speeds and loads. However, there are some anecdotal reports that it has issues with Windows 8.1, including on my computer. Perfectly fine if you are mostly interested in CPU and case temperatures.Ģ) SpeedFan : Very robust information about CPU and GPU temperatures, fan speeds and loads. Doesn't monitor fan speeds or GPU information. i use hwinfo to get cpu info and their dll plugin to port it to rainmeter cpu shows correct data but i also use bar display means when cpu shows 2 bar moves slightly when 10 bar moves more. I personally would be tempted to stay away from it.ġ) CoreTemp : Quite good, built-in Rainmeter plugin, but a little limited. I don't remember specifics, but I think there have been some stability issues with the OpenHardwareMonitor plugin for Rainmeter, and I'm not sure it is still supported by its author. If you don't use OpenHardwareMonitor for other purposes, I really suggest looking at either CoreTemp or SpeedFan, both of which can measure CPU temperature and have Rainmeter plugins that come with Rainmeter, or HWInfo, which while also 3rd-party, is the one that I use and am really happy with. You need to double check the name of the sensor you are referencing from OpenHardwareMonitor. I'm not familiar with it.Īssuming you have that covered, and it looks like you might, then I'm not sure. If not, you will need to find it somewhere. ![]() I assume the plugin came with the skin, as it is not a standard Rainmeter plugin but a 3rd-party one. It should be put in:Ĭ:\Users\ YourName\AppData\Roaming\Rainmeter\PluginsĪnd must be the same 32bit or 64bit architecture as the Rainmeter version you are running. You not only need to have OpenHardwareMonitor running on your system, but you must have OpenHardwareMonitorPlugin.dll, the plugin for Rainmeter that supports OpenHardwareMonitor. SpeedFan doesn’t even show my CPU temperature, and my GPU temperature drops to 0 every time I close SpeedFan. Aesthetically, I love Lines 2.0 but I’m having the hardest time setting it up on SpeedFan. I was trying to find a skin for monitoring CPU and GPU temperatures. Plugin=Plugins\OpenHardwareMonitorPlugin.dll Hello, this is my first time using Rainmeter. Here is the script that I have for CPU.ini: New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be. The only accurate program I could find is Ryzen Master, but there seems to be no plugin for it. I get the requested sensor does not exist error. you need the CoreTemp 8 (google for the beta 8.0.4 or something like that, the 'official release' locks up win8/8. Im hoping to have a little display show cpu temp along with a scrolling graph, but the cputemp plugin is totally inaccurate. I have open hard ware monitor open and running. Fairly new with rain meter, love it so far, I am using an older skin everything works great except for the cpu temp which only shows 0 C. ![]()
